I would like to install a wood stove in my finished basement, run the smoke pipe, safely thru a wall, and vent it with my existing boiler. Anything wrong with this plan? |

Two things are wrong with this idea.
- A vented appliance must be in the same room as the chimney it vents into.
- A wood stove must vent into its own chimney. It CANNOT share a chimney with another appliance.
