Can I install a wood stove in my cellar next to my furnace and use the furnace blower to distribute the heat? I would like to have a hood built over the stove and duct it to my return? |

Can I install a wood stove in my cellar next to my furnace and use the furnace blower to distribute the heat? I would like to have a hood built over the stove and duct it to my return?
- The blower is likely to draw the exhaust back down the chimney
- The return system of the house will be rendered useless
- Any smoke that escapes the wood stove will be blown thru out the house.
