The two angled solar panels heat the air. Using temperature sensors, a fancoil unit circulates the air thru a hot water radiator, converting the heated air into heated water. The cool air is returned to the bottom of the solar panels while the heated water is fed into a storage tank. This storage tank feeds the standard hot water heater with preheated water. This method of Solar Hot Water eliminates the threat of freezing, it does not expose the water to outside temperatures. |
