Radiant heat is an excellent form of home heating. The only drawbacks to a radiant floor heating system is its slow recovery and the lack of cooling. When coupled with a hydro air system, it can achieve all comfort goals with efficiency. The hydro air heat can be wired as the second stage of a two stage thermostat. This allows for a quick recovery in the heating mode plus has the advantage of the accessories applicable to ducted systems: high performance filters, humidifiers, uv air purifiers, etc. These same heat ducts can be used for central air conditioning, giving the homeowner the best of both comfort systems. |
